Possibly the scariest thing about owning your own home is the possibility of foundation issues.  Why?  Most people immediately think of the substantial cost they are about to incur once foundation issues arise.  Let us ease your mind a little.  While foundation failure can be extremely significant, and sometimes costly, there are some proactive tips you can take to catch foundation issues in the early stages.

We have some tips that we will be sharing with you on Fridays to help you scan your home for potential signs of foundation issues as soon as they appear, instead of waiting until they escalate into major foundation issues.

This week's tip:

To start, check the foundation itself.  The foundation is built to sustain many things, however the moment you notice signs of structural damage such as cracks, sagging floors, gaps, or crumbling concrete, you should contact us.  The longer you wait to address even the smallest issue, the more costly it could be.
