Job Stories From Tarrant County, TX
Hurst home is now rental ready.

The homeowner of this newly renovated home was ready to rent out his property.  As he started preparing the property he quickly noticed visible signs of foundation problems in the back of his home, such as cracks in the walls and doors sticking. This came as no surprise, as he had already experienced similar problems in the front of his home 13 years ago.  In 2003, Power Jack Foundation Repair installed 26 piers in the front of the home, 12 of which were installed around the front porch that extends to the length of the home.

Because of the satisfactory work performed by us in 2003, this homeowner had no reservations in contacting Power Jack Foundation Repair again when he noticed these new tell-tale signs.  We quickly sent out our System Design Specialist to inspect the property and provide this homeowner with a permanent foundation solution. Upon completing measurements throughout the property, just as the homeowner suspected, the back left side of the home needed to be lifted.  Our production crew, lead by Daniel Hernandez, completed a satisfactory lift by installing 4 FSI steel piers around the back corner of the home.  The homeowner opted for the FSI steel piers after learning the quality of the piers, opposed to the alternative.

This homeowner is happy to report that he now has been able to completely renovate the property and perform the work necessary to make it "rental ready".  He feels comfortable that whoever chooses to rent his home, will undoubtedly, enjoy a safe, newly renovated home.

Cul-De-Sac in North Richland Hills, TX

This home is beautifully nested in a quiet cul de sac in the heart of North Richland Hills.  This community is a more established suburb of Dallas/Fort Worth, with many of the homes being built in the late 90's.  This home was built in 1999, and has only had one owner.  Most homeowners that move to the North Richland Hills area, are there to stay.

As the homes have began to settle over the past 15 plus years, homeowners are starting to notice the classic signs of foundation problems; cracks in the corners of their interior walls, stair-step cracking in the bricks, and doors sticking. As this homeowner began to notice some of these signs, he knew it was important to contact one of our System Design Specialists (SDS) immediately.  Power Jack Foundation Repair sent out our SDS to complete a full inspection of the property.  After completing all the measurements throughtout the home, it was concluded that the front, left of the home would need piering to provide structural support and prevention of any further settlement.

Power Jack Foundation sent out our crew and installed 9 FSI Steel Piers around the settled area of the home, offering complete stabilization to this home.  After the completion of installation,  we ordered a final engineer's report for the home, offering the homeowner a certified report and preventative maintenance to pro-actively prevent further settlement.

Poly first, FSI next.

This stunning home located on the outskirts of Fort Worth, got a complete Power Jack Foundation Repair make-over. The homeowner originally contacted us to lift the flagstone pool decking.  The pool was originally put in roughly 20 years ago, and has underwent several cosmetic changes since then.  The latest cosmetic change was the installation of flagstone around the pool.  After a considerable amount of soil settlement under the stone, a number of gaps have become increasingly noticeable.

Our PolyLEVEL Specialist inspected the pool decking, and quickly came to the conclusion that we could, without doubt, lift this pool deck to create a level surface with no gaps.  There were three pinpointed areas that the settlement had occured and where the PolyLEVEL would be pumped in.  Our PolyLEVEL crew was able to inject 653 pounds of PolyLEVEL throughout the three areas, lifting the stone 6 inches.

But wait, there's more...

This homeowner was also interested in having a section of his home stabilized, due to the same common soil settlement that had occurred around his pool.  After completing measurements and a full inspection by our System Design Specialist, 8 FSI Steel Piers were installed on the right side of his home.  As a bonus to the homeowner, Power Jack Foundation Repair was able to complete this installation at the same time, so there was little interruption in his busy routine.
